Anthariksham Collections: Fails to beat Fidaa and Tholi Prema

Anthariksham starring Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari, which was released yesterday on 21st December in a very grand manner, received positive response by the movie lovers and critics from everywhere. Sankalp Reddy’s directorial venture Antariksham has opened to decent response and made good collection at the US box office in the US premieres. According to the traders report Varun Tej’s film has beaten the collection record of  Padi Padi Leche Manasu, KGF and Seethakaathi. But the movie has been failed to crush the Premier collection records of Tholi Prema and Fidaa.

Anthariksham has collected $89,027 from 101 location of 20th December from its premier show whereas Padi Padi Leche Manasu has minted $72,877 from 98 locations. Yash starrer KGF has earned $56,497 from 59 loc.

Trade tracker Jeevi shared the collection figures of Friday’s released movies on his Twitter, “Telugu film premiere grosses in USA on 20 dec: #Anthariksham – $89,027 (101 loc) #PadiPadiLecheManasu – $72,877 (98 loc) #KGF (all languages) – $56,497 (59 loc) #Anthariksham leads in gross and #KGF leads in per location average! “

Varun Tej starrer Antariksham 9000 KMPH was premiered in over 110 screens in the US on Thursday night and as expected the movie has taken a good start. Antariksham which has collected $89,027 from 101 locations at the US box office in the US premieres, became fail to beat the collection records of Varun Tej’s previous offerings Tholi Prema ($148,665) and Fidaa ($363,000).

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a romantic entertainer drama in which Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi played the lead role. The movie is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and jointly produced by Prasad Chukkapalli and Sudhakar Cherukuri.

 On the otherside, Varun Tej is now waiting for the release of his next upcoming romantic and comedy entertainer movie F2 Fun and Frustration in which Venkatesh Daggubati, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Tamannah Bhatia are playing the lead roles.
