Young Rebel Star Prabhas is getting ready to join the sets of his next film, the romantic entertainer Jaan, in which he will share the screen space with Maharshi fame Pooja Hegde. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, no Hindi version for Prabhas’ movie post-Saaho’s box office blow. The sources close to the film unit of Jaan revealed that Radha Krishna Kumar’s directorial venture Jaan will feature minimal action and there will be no Hindi version of Jaan.
Now Prabhas has decided to focus on his primary market for the next couple of movies. His Hindi market can wait. Hindi version of Sujeeth’ directorial venture Sahoo starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, lost a huge amount of money, thereby providing a lesson to all the actors from the non-Hindi language making a crossover into the mainstream. According to the latest buzz, Prabhas doesn’t want to lose the trust of his Telugu audience for the sake of wider reach in the Hindi market.
Jaan is a romantic saga in which Prabhas is playing the role of a palm reader and the major part of the film’s shoot will take place in Europe. The music of the film will be composed by Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi.
While promoting the Hindi film recently Pooja Hegde, opened up about her co-star Prabhas and said, “Baahubali star Prabhas is always chilled out, he is so considerate. Mirchi star not only loves to eat but also loves to feed. His cook brings us lip-smacking meals on the set.”
This is the first time, Pooja Hegde and Prabhas are working together for a movie Jaan. The story of Jaan is set in 1970 and the makers are in plans to release this upcoming film during summer next year. Prabhas will spend the next six months on this project before moving on to his next film which is likely to be helmed by Koratala Siva.
