Venkatesh Daggubati is one of the most talented actors of the South Indian Film Industry. In a career spanning 30 years, Venky starred in 72 feature films. Guru star has played a variety of roles in Telugu cinema and in a couple of Bollywood films. He was last seen in F2 Fun and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi, which was released on the occasion of Sankranthi this year and competed with big-budget dramas, but finally, it was turned out Sankranthi Winner. F2 earned over Rs 80 cr in its full run. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Venkatesh has hiked his remuneration.
Venkatesh was charging Rs 5 crores per film and for the movie made on his banner, he would acquire the satellite rights of his projects. Now it is being heard that Venkatesh has doubled his remuneration and he is quoting Rs 10 crores.
After Asuran remake, which will be co-produced by Suresh Babu, Venkatesh Daggubati will do films for other banners and for which has decided to quote Rs 10 Cr remuneration.
The sources say that when nowadays several young actors are quoting Rs 10 crores per film, then Venkatesh also deserves it.
On the work side, Venkatesh is waiting for the release of his upcoming film Venky Mam, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby which has Rashi Khanna, Payal Rajput, and Naga Chaitanya. Currently, Venkatesh is busy with the promotional activities of Venky Mama, which will be released on 13th December. After the release of Venky Mama, he will join the sets of his next upcoming drama-Asuran remake, which will be helmed by Srikanth Addala. Asuran is a revenge drama that traces the fight of an oppressed community against those oppressing them is based on Tamil novel Vekkai written by Poomani. The movie featured Dhanush in dual roles, playing his character over two generations.
