According to Yaaho India report, SS Rajamouli film Baahubali is not in the list of biggest Blockbuster films of the Decade.
According to Yaaho India report, Aamir Khan starrer sport based drama “Dangal”, which was released in 2016, and crossed the Rs 2,000 crore mark at the global box-office is the biggest blockbuster of the decade but Baahubali is not in the same list. Aamir Khan’ “Dangal” is followed by Salman Khan starrer “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and Aamir Khan starrer “PK”, The other films in the list of top 10 blockbusters of the decade include Salman Khan starrer “Sultan”, “Tiger Zinda Hai”, Aamir Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer “Dhoom 3”, “Sanju”, “War”, “Chennai Express” and “Dabangg”. SS Rajamouli’ directorial ventures- Baahubali series- Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, which created history at the box office on Indian Cinema, is not listed in the list of the biggest blockbuster of the decade. It is an insult to SS Rajamouli and his movie Baahubali.
It is known news that SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), smashed all box office records with its massive earnings in 2017, and it also surpassed Aamir Khan starrer Dangal (2016). On its opening day, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion minted Rs 41 crore for just the Hindi version and Rs 80 crore in total, combining the collection of Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Baahubali 2 grossed Rs 1,810 Cr at the box office in India.
The film Baahubali which was made on the budget of Rs 250 crore, featured Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in key roles. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion broke all box office records and became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. But according to Yahoo, Baahubali is not in the list of blockbuster films of the decade.
The Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan emerged as the male style icon of the year and Sunny Leone emerged as a most searched female celebrity of 2019, Yaaho India said, “The results are based on an analysis of user’s interest patterns based on what they searched for, read, recommended and shared.”
