Recently Kona Venkat attended a promotional event of Nishabdham and talked about this upcoming film.
Kona Venkat revealed that Anushka Shetty was not the first choice of his upcoming film Nishabdham. According to him, he narrated the script of Nishabdham to Anushka Shetty on a flight from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Anushka Shetty took some time and later gave her a green signal for Nishabdham.
Kona Venkat added, “Anushka Shetty was not the first choice for the female lead’s role of Nishabdham as I have written the script for another female superstar. When I was returning from Mumbai, I spotted Anushka Shetty on the same flight. Suddenly, the plane had a tire puncture and it has been diverted to Chennai. Meanwhile, I pitched the storyline of Nishabdham to Anushka and it took a week’s time for her to give the final signal.”
Anushka Shetty will be seen as a mute artist Sakshi, Madhavan as a celebrity musician Anthony, Shalini Pandey as Sonali, voice of Sakshi, Anjali as Maha, a crime detective from Seattle police department, Subbaraju as Vivek, a wildlife photographer and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in a negative role of that of a cop Richard Dickens from Seattle police department.
Nishabdham is directed by Hemanth Madhukar and is produced by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation. Shot in Telugu and Tamil, the crossover film starring Anushka Shetty will also be dubbed into Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
